I just finished Elle’s gallery and sent it off to her mama. I have been spending a lot of time with adorable newborns lately and I love it! I am so thankful that I get to enjoy what I do. There was a time when that wasn’t true for me: when I struggled to work up the motivation to go to my job and counted the hours until I could clock out and leave. I believe that is what happens to us when we try to do something that we were not meant to do. While my business is not without challenges, it builds me up, unlike past jobs that left me feeling broken down. Especially during the fall, I can feel a little overwhelmed by the sheer length of my to-do list, but at the same time, I’m so grateful for it and my family is blessed for it.
There are so many other things to be thankful for, as well, like teeny tiny fingers and sweet baby cheeks. Oh, and those little noises they make when they sleep…
