Phew! I am so busy this week! I have been culling through thousands of photos, shooting, packing up orders daily and staying up late. Feels like Fall to me! I am thankful for snuggle time on the couch with my three kids and coffee, and the occasional Candy Crush break. But oh how I love Autumn light! I wish I could have those colors and soft sunsets to work with all year round! It’s too bad I can’t bottle this up and keep it in my studio. There are no backdrops that can begin to compare with God’s canvas.
Kaela’s session this weekend was so fun, and slightly adventurous. I accidentally walked right into a bunch of burrs, covering my jeans, because that’s what happens when you walk with a camera on your face looking at the light instead of looking where you are going. Ha! Then Kaela almost got pooped on by a bird (it seriously landed right in front of her). But other than that, the whole shoot was a amazing. The light was on point and I could not have asked for a more gorgeous subject to work with; Kaela rocked it. I had a really hard time picking favorites to preview, but here are a few.
