I’ve been photographing a lot of babies lately and I love it! When I’m photographing kids, I play with them and I enjoy making a connection. Kids invite you into their world. Babies have this little tight knit world, though, and when I am photographing them, I am stepping into that world as an observer. Their parents are their whole heart and you can see it all over their face! I love to photograph that connection. The best expressions are always coming from that place of love, right after or while they are looking into their parents’ eyes. Harper was no exception. Her eyes lit up and she smiled for her mom and dad; you could just see the “I love you” in her expression. She is such a sweetheart!
Harper and her family met me at Leroy Oakes for their session. I used this location twice this fall and I love it – it’s so pretty!
