This is a story, that for me, began nearly fifteen years ago, on the third floor of Benson Hall. That was when I first met Chrystal, another freshman who lived a few doors down in my dorm, and would soon become one of my most treasured, life-long friends. We prayed with each other through the hardest times and celebrated together during the happiest moments. We stood in each other’s weddings and she was there to hold all my babies, celebrate their birthdays and milestones. Well now, I have finally gotten to hold her first child, a beautiful son, and it was one of the sweetest newborn sessions that I have ever gotten to do. He was one of the smallest baby boys I’ve gotten to hold and photograph (not quite 6 pounds at his session).
I just finished editing the photos from his session and wanted to share some of my favorites. I got to snuggle him the other day and I could not believe how much he had already grown since these were taken. Babies grow so fast, don’t they? I fell in love with him instantly – little Jojo! I look forward to seeing him grow and being a part of his life, just like Chrystal has been a wonderful part of my children’s lives!

One more fun little candid… I can’t get over this picture of my daughter, Elli, holding him (with my help). She just loves babies and was so sweet and tender with him! She was quite upset with me when I took my turn. Haha!
